Pedestrian access via the Ferry Terminal – Propriano Commercial Port
Safety
Luggage must not be left unattended at the Ferry Terminal – Vigipirate security plan in force
Pedestrian movement within port facilities: you must follow the designated routes.
Boarding for pedestrians
- Access control carried out at the entrance to the port facilities by an EPCIC officer and/or a security officer
- You will need to show your ticket and your identity card or passport
Disembarkation procedure
- Passengers disembark via a dedicated, green-coloured pedestrian route, which is secure and must be followed all the way to the exit of the Commercial Port.
Vehicles
Access to Propriano Commercial Harbour is permitted 2 hours(*)(**) before the ship’s departure.
(*) Vehicles arriving before the authorised time will be refused entry; they must not park in front of the barrier at the port entrance or on the access roads to the port.
(**) Free parking behind the Ferry Terminal.
Accompanying vehicles are not permitted to enter the port area; passengers arriving on foot must be dropped off in front of the Ferry Terminal for boarding.
Practical information for boarding
- Your ticket will be checked 2 hours before departure by an EPCIC official in order to gain access to the port and proceed to the shipping company’s security checkpoint.
- Follow the port signage to the Compagnie Maritime’s control area.
- Do not proceed to the ship without having completed the necessary formalities with the shipping company.
- Your ticket (travel document) and ID will be checked between 2.00 and 1.30 hours before departure by a representative of the shipping company directly at your vehicle.
- Park your vehicle in the pre-boarding area.
- Boarding the ship.
Disembarkation procedure
- Vehicles are unloaded from the ship via a specific route indicated by EPCIC’s Port Operations Officers as they leave the ship.
- No vehicle is permitted to stop on the unloading bays.
- Meeting points must be located outside the port area.
People with reduced mobility
Please inform staff of your disability as soon as you arrive at the pre-security checkpoint; EPCIC staff stationed at the port entrances will notify the relevant shipping company so that it can arrange appropriate assistance.
To make it easier to board the ship (access to the lift, etc.), please report to the Port Manager well before boarding begins.
